Mahesh Babu’s Brother-in-law, Sudhir Babu finally made it to success league with Prema Katha Chitram. And with this success, there are decent expectations on his today’s release, Aadu Magadra Bujji. Here is how it actually shaped up!
Sudhir Babu appears as Siddhu, a happy go lucky college student. He falls in love with Indu (Asmita Sood). Indu’s brother, Cherry (Ranadir) and Bujji (Ajay) are political rivals. For a bright political future, Bujji wants to marry Anjali (Poonam Kaur), daughter of local political bigwig (Suman). But Anjali loves Cherry. How Siddhu is irritated by these Politics and how he evens the ground between the baddies is the rest of the story about.
Sudhir Babu seems to be concentrating more on his looks and physique. However, he needs to work out on his dialogue delivery and histrionics particularly while playing mass characters like this.
Asmita Sood is pretty but failed to carry the role. Poonam Kaur is okay but could have done better justice to her role. Ajay is good but Ranadir, Suman, Naresh and Pruthvi disappointed. Rachana Mourya sparkled in an item number.
Aadu Magadra Bujji is a beaten to death mass story made umpteen times in Tollywood. Added to it, the treatment, direction and screenplay are all awful making the movie lack luster. The second half irritates you and makes you see the watch number of times and climax also goes on similar lines.
Music department is below par again. Cinematography by Santonio Terzio is okay and Editing could have been a lot better.
1. Comedy scenes involving a dog
1. Almost all of the remaining
If you can afford to take your busy time and hard earned money for just a comedy sequence involving a dog, you can give it a try (Do not blame us later). If not, do not even give it a thought.
Bottom Line: Bad-Routine-Boring-Whatever
Cinetara Rating: 1/5
