They plan to start living together for a while and understand each others compatibility. But things turn around from they start living together. Will Anil and Ananya understand each other? Will their parents accept their love? Forms the rest of the story line.
Performance: Sumanth Ashwin perfectly fits into the role of Anil and carries it well with a lot of dignity. It is Eesha who walks away with the cake. She has emoted well through her eyes and expressions. The chemistry between Sumanth and Eesha is an Add-on. Rao Ramesh, Ravi Babu too has excelled in their roles. Rohini , Madhubala are supported well with their roles. Avasarala Srinivas is good with few punchlines. Thagubothu Ramesh cameo is funny.
Technical Aspects: Fist half of the film runs on a cute love story and relations with a casual twist in the interval. The second half runs real life troubles and adjustment in real life with a convincing climax. But the story of the film is predictable. Screenplay of the film is fine. Dialogues are good. There are some good one-liners in the film like Okkatiga undadam veru brathakadam veru, Jaali tho premisthe Jagamantha kutumbam avuthundi.Direction by Mohan Krishna Indraganti is satisfactory. He narrated the movie in a manner where you would not get bored anywhere. Dialogues of this film are decent. There are good occasional one liners and comedy bits. Music by Kalyani Koduri sounds better when visuals are mixed to sound. The background music is nice. The songs are taken in a classy mode. Editing could have been crispier in the second half. The production values by Sri Ranjith Film’s banner are rich though the film is made in a medium budget.
Plus: Lead Pair Chemistry, Cinematography, Direction, Songs.
Minus: Drags in Between,Thin Story line.
Verdict: Anthaku Mundu Aa Taruvatha certainly stands up to the hype built around it before its release. AMAT does not boasts of an off-beat story. Young love looks fresh, but what works for the film is the way it is narrated with a good screenplay. The dialogues are crisp and clean. The songs have been particularly well-shot. Anthaku Mundu Aa Tharuvatha is a neat love story but a faster pace and little punch could have done wonders to the film.
Cinetara Rating: 3/5
