Hold on your thoughts, for we are not at all talking of Ram Charan’s political aspirations or his views in the current affairs of the state. This is for a because, read on…
Mega star Ram Charan is currently busy shooting for his film Govindudu Andari Vaadele under Krishna Vamsi’s direction, and that does not stop the actor from offering his support to a noble initiative.
Charan has, in fact, been signed in as the brand ambassador of the Earth Hour 2014 organised by World Wildlife Fund for Nature. In this initiative individual from various cities from all parts of the globe voluntarily participate in conserving electricity, and they pledge not to use electric power for one hour during the prime time of power consumption, which means they will switch off lights, fans, TV and all electronic gadgets that run on electricity. This drive is observed every year on the 29th of March.
Incidentally, Hyderabad is in the race to become the ‘World’s Earth Hour Capital’ along with 33 other cities from around the world. Ram Charan is said to be promoting this event in a big way and is trying very hard for Hyderabad to achieve this rare feat.
Charan’s fans and others will be be pleased by the actor’s nobility and it would be a bigger achievement if all of us voluntarily conserve electricity on a daily basis rather than one single day.
