Nandamuri Balakrishna has revealed that Andhra Pradesh Chief minister Chandra Babu Naidu had offered him a cabinet berth but he refused to take up it. “I was offered a ministry but I made Chandra Babu clear that I want to focus more on the welfare of my constituency (Hindupur) over the next five years. So, I told him I was not ready”, said the actor cum politician. He also made it clear that it is his duty to continue his father’s legacy in films, so he will continue acting.
He will also work towards the development of Basava Tarakam Cancer Hospital and is looking to establish a branch of it in the new Andhra Pradesh. Balayya recently had the launch of his 98th film under the direction of Satya Deva. He will begin the regular shooting of the film very soon in Ooty.
