Kamal To Replace Rajni In Robo 2

This news can erupt a war between superstar Rajnikanth fans and Kamal’s fans; there is strong news that Kamal Haasan will take over the lead role in Robot 2, which is the sequel of Rajni’s blockbuster film Robot. Robot’s director Shankar had faced major constraints while making the prequel and in fact, it was a 160 crore project. Rajinikanth dared to sign up the film because Kalanithi Maran agreed to pump in funds to the project and the science fiction went on to become one of the major blockbusters in the south film industry.

Shankar is currently preparing for the release of I (titled as Manoharudu in Telugu) starring Vikram in April. The next project that the director is bracing up with is the tentatively titled Robot 2 and the filmmaker’s first choice is undoubtedly Rajini but due to the actor’s health condition the director is considering to cast Kamal Haasan. Shankar has scripted the sequel with a budget of a whopping Rs 250 crores.

Sources also revealed that superstar Rajni might mostly not take up the film because the script demands too many action sequences and the actor’s current health condition might not permit him to take up a huge commitment. Thus, most likely Kamal Haasan will be the lucky guy to sign this magnum opus..
