Balayya’s upcoming film Legend’s music album is out, and the music composer is Devi Sri Prasad. DSP is composing music for the first time for a Balakrishna film, and there was huge expectation from the music director, however. The music seems to be a disappointment. Considering the fact that it is THE Balayya’s film the music is not in par with the actor’s image or on-screen persona.
Also, the fact is music composers always keep in the mind that Balakrishna is a mass hero and majority of the songs are composed in a way to please the actor. Devi Sri Prasad does not seem to have understood the magnanimous on-screen personality of Balayya and going by the powerful visuals of the film the music has not done much to elevate the film to a greater level.
The music album of Legend is not certainly the best of DSP and bluntly put it is just about average except for the title song of the film and another melodious number Nee Kanti Choopullo, which is stands above the rest.
For now, Balayya’s getup and powerful dialogues in the trailer are giving rise to great expectations but the music might disappoint the fans.
