In Pawan Kalyan’s Attarintiki Daredi yesteryear actress Nadhiya played the role of power star’s aunt and in fact he she represented the title of the film rather she was Pawan’s ‘atta’ in the film. Prior to this role Nadhiya had played Prabhas’ mother in Mirchi and now we hear that the actress is all set be play the role of Mahesh Babu’s sister in his forthcoming film Aagadu.

That is definitely a good progression by Nadhiya we must say; from playing Prabhas’s mother to Mahesh’s sister is quite amazing, she is getting younger by the day!

When it is tough for senior actresses getting meaningful roles in film industry Nadhiya seems to be the lucky one and not only is she getting to do prominent roles the actress is making her appearances with super stars. Strangely so, even the film industry etches out only mother or aunt roles to senior actresses and not that these actresses are vying to play heroines but writing character-oriented roles for these ladies will do some justice to their talent.

Although there is no denial that Nadhiya’s role as Pawan’s aunt in AD was a well-written role may be similar kind of roles will just do wonders for these actresses, at least their presence will be felt in the industry rather than just being termed as yesteryear actresses.
