Telugu film industry will be shut down tomorrow as a mark of respect for Akkineni Nageswara Rao who left this mortal world today morning. All the unions of film industry will be participating in this bandh. The decision was announced by MAA President Murali Mohan a short while ago. Theaters in the state will not be screening movies too to pay their respects to the departed soul.

On the other side, decision regarding his last rites is still pending. But it is told that a memorial tomb will be erected in Annapurna Studios just beside Annapurnamma’s (ANR’s wife) tomb. Numerous film celebrities across the generations are coming to Annapurna Studios to pay their homage to the grand old man. Several fans are also on their way from every nook and corner of the state to have one final glance at their favourite actor.
