In what could be termed as a generous and humble gesture Manchu Vishnu has set an example to rest of his colleagues in the industry by waiving off remuneration for his forthcoming film Rowdy directed by Ram Gopal Varma.
It is a known fact that Vishnu and Parthasarathy and Gajendra are best of buddies and incidentally they are the producers of Rowdy, which is why the actor has decided to do the film without charging a penny.
Confirming this news Vishnu said, “They are like family to me. We grew up together and they morally supported me in many projects, so this film is extra special to me. I know from experience that producing movies isn’t an easy proposition and warned my friends. But they were adamant on funding the movie themselves. So I decided to waive my remuneration to help ease some pressure on the producers. I told them to pay me my due after the movie goes on to become a hit. It’s the least I could do for them.”
Your gesture is certainly appreciated Vishnu and what are friends for, right? While considering the fact that most leading super stars are signing deals that are sealed with crores of rupees, Vishnu’s “for friends’ sake gesture” comes as a pleasant surprise.
