This is as nasty as it can get; negative publicity before a particular film’s release is really a worrisome situation for the filmmakers. And along with the film fraternity we too wonder as to who spreads this negative talk before and after a film hits the screen. But the crux of the matter here is whatever negativity surrounds a film ultimately the story is the winner; if the story line is fresh and appealing no bad talk can affect it and this fact in deed is proved by Puri Jagannath’s recent release Heart Attack starring Nithin.
To bring it to your notice Mahesh Babu’s One Nenokkadine too had to face a similar negative publicity and despite good reviews the film failed to create any magic at the box office while Ram Charan’s Yevadu that was released during the same time did not receive good reviews but reached the 50 crore club!
While Nithin’s Heart Attack had a bad opening and the reviews issued were also bad but surprisingly the younger crowd did like the movie and slowly but steadily the movie is receiving larger audience and the collections have also picked up pace.
It is really difficult to figure out as to who spins such negative talk to damage the overall performance and success of films. But we would like to conclude that audience is the ultimate judge and if they like something there is no one to stop the film from becoming a success.
