Ram Charan, Shruti Haasan’s Yevadu has officially postponed its release to August 21st from July 31st. Dil Raju held a press meet at Daspalla Hotel yesterday evening confirmed the postponement news.

Dil Raju said, “‘Yevadu’ is our first trendsetter movie from our banner. We (with Vamsi Paidipally) recently watched the first copy of Yevadu, Vamsi enriched the script on screen. Its a director’s film. We pushed Yevadu release to couple of weeks as we want to maintain healthy gap between the big releases. We sat down with Pawan Kalyan and Ramcharan for clearing the release issue. Yevadu will be released on August 21st, on the occassion of Rakhi festival. Similar issue happened few years back when we postponed Jr. NTR’s Brindhavanam for a week for Mahesh Babu’s Khaleja. Everyone knows the success Brindavanam received after the release.”

Vamsi Paidipally says, “I’m a big admirer for Chiranjeevi garu. Yevadu success is my gift to Megastar Chiranjeevi on his birthday (i.e; August 22nd). Yevadu is a perfect commercial film for Mega Power star Ram Charan Teja. He justified the role perfectly. Movie postponed for healthy relation in Tollywood, and not for any other reason.”

Yevadu recently comepleted censor formalities and received “A” certificate with no cuts. Allu Arjun, Kajal Aggarwal are doing special cameo’s in Yevadu. It’s first time for Ram Charan his two movies Yevadu and Thoofan (release on September 6th) will be releasing within a span of two weeks gap and contend with his own film.
